Denne teach-in og filmfestival vil fokusere på begrebet kommunisering, der inden for de seneste år er blevet et helt centralt og omdiskuteret begreb inden for revolutionær kommunistisk teori og praksis. Blandt andre anvender gruppen Den Usynlige Komité begrebet i manifestet Den kommende opstand, som netop er udkommet på dansk. Festivalen vil kombinere teoretiske og praktiske workshops, filmforevisninger samt en workshop for kommunistisk filmproduktion. Festivalen foregår på engelsk.

Kommunisering kan kort forklares som afskaffelsen af kapitalismen og den umiddelbare realisering af kommunismen i revolution. Klasserelationer, penge, værdiformen, staten og dens apparaters altomfattende kontrol vil blive ophævet i denne proces, snarere end vedligeholdt og anvendt i en overgangsfase hen mod kommunismen. Kommuniseringsprocessen er kommunisme, og kommunisme er kommunisering. Denne kommunisering repræsenterer et brud med ideen om revolutionen som indførelsen af 'arbejderkontrol' eller den selvorganiserede styring af kapitalismen. Kommunisering er skabelsen af nye sociale relationer, der vil tilintetgøre vores status som proletarer, ophæve hverdagens fremmedgørende konkurrence, sætte spørgsmålstegn ved forholdet mellem kønnene og endeligt fortrænge kapitalen som organiserende princip i verden. Den revolution, som kommuniseringen indebærer, vil betyde opdagelsen af hidtil uerkendte begær og kollektive levemåder, der er næsten utænkelige inden for kapitalismen.

På sin vis kan kommunisering synes at være intet andet end en utopisk drøm om negationen af kapitalismen eller en fremtidig hændelse, der ikke har noget at gøre med vores liv i nutiden. Men kommunisering er en allerede eksisterende bevægelse og tendens, der har sin kilde i virkelige behov i hverdagen. Processen er allerrede i gang.

Full Unemployment Cinema er en London-baseret gruppe af kunstnere, aktivister og forfattere, der i løbet af nogle år har kørt et filmprogram med film om eller mod arbejde. Københavner Kommunen er et løst netværk af aktivister, kunstnere og drop-outs, der arbejder for et uafhængigt og kommunistisk København. Festivalen er organiseret i samarbejde med Skolen for Mur og Rum.

Communist Teach-in and Film Festival

Folkets Hus and Saxil Cykler Thursday & Friday April 19 & 20 from 11am until late.

The teach-in and festival will focus on the term communisation that recently have become a term for debate within ultra-left revolutionary theory and practice. The dasywe spent together will consist of a combination of theoretical and practical workshops and film activities, such as screenings and a communist film production workshop.

Communisation can be broadly understood as the abolition of capitalism and the immediate production of communism within a revolution. Class relations, exchange, money, the domination of life by value, the state and its apparatuses of control - all would be negated in this process rather than maintained and utilised during a transitional phase towards communism. The process of communisation is communism and communism is communisation. In this communisation represents a break with ideas of revolution as the imposition of 'workers control' or the self-organised management of capitalism. Communisation would be the production of new social relations that would destroy our status as proletarians, contest everyday alienation, call into question gender relations and definitively displace capital as the organising principle of our world. The revolution as communisation would mean discovering desires and collective ways of living unacknowledged and almost unimaginable within capitalism.

Communisation might seem to be little more than a utopian dream of the negation of capitalism, a future event that has little to do with our lives in the present. But communisation is already a process and tendency in motion at present in relation to real desires emerging from the everyday. It has already started...

Full Unemployment Cinema is a London based group of artists, activists and writers that over some years have been running a film program screening films about or against work. The Copenhagen Commune is a loose network of activists, artists and drop outs working for an independent and communist Copenhagen. The festival is organised in collaboration with the School of Wall & Space.

Both days start at Folkets Hus, Stengade 50, Nørrebro at 11am. Coffee and tea from 10.30. Cinema screening at Saxil Cykler, Blågårdsgade 12, Nørrebro from 8pm.
