Solidarity with Nikos Romanos

On Wednesday, the 3rd of December, we are gathering outside the Greek Embassy at 16.00 to show our solidarity to the imprisoned anarchist Nikos Romanos. Romanos has been on hungerstrike since the 10th of November demanding his legal right to educational day release from prison. Three other prisoners - Giannis Mihailidis, Andreas Dimitris Bourzoukos and Dimitris Politis - have since entered hungerstrike in solidarity with their comrade. The treatment of Romanos is yet another example of growing repression towards political prisoners in Greece.
