THE NEW SPANISH RADICAL MOVEMENT

Raimundo Viejo Vinhas will analyse the Spanish 15M movement, focusing on its new repertoire of collective actions, such as neighbourhood assemblies, parliament blockades and escraches. After the talk, we will hold a debate about the Spanish experience, how it can develop and what can work as examples for Danish movements.

Raimundo is a Spanish activist from Barcelona. Besides being an active member of different organizations of the so called 15M social movement, he has been a lecturer on Political Culture and Political Theory in universities in Germany, Switzerland and Spain, where he specialised on Social Movements. His last project is the cooperative publishing house Artefakte, which focuses on the translation and publication of alternative works.
