Don’t call us – we’ll call you… terrorists

One Monday in October a Philippino Professor woke up as a terrorist. On that day, the name of Professor Jose Maria Sison was added to EU’s list of terrorists. Sison is a Chief Political Consultant to the National Democratic Front, a leftist umbrella group consisting of, amongst others, the New People’s Army (NPA) – a guerrilla army estimated to number some 12.000 fighters. A message from Prague

– Nato is a cold war anachronism that really should no longer exist. It is a military nuclear alliance, that realistically has no place.

Continent of peace – decade of war

Europe has waged five wars in thirteen years, with one more on the way. And that’s just the big ones.

Europeans welcomed the end of the Cold War as an unprecedented opportunity for peace. The EU and NATO, the strongest political and military organizations on the continent, have both been celebrated as the most important peace organizations ever.

How then can it be that since 1989 more European soldiers have been at war in more places, killing more people, than during the time when we were lined up on the front line of The Cold War?

To teach Global Roots a lesson

There was no political motive behind the web attack on Global Roots, claimed an anonomuys caller today to the magazine Computer World, writes Dagbladet Arbejderen.
